New York Audio Institute is a hands-on audio engineering program in New York City, offering one-on-one training inside a professional recording studio. Students learn music production, recording, and mixing in a real-world environment at Engine Room Audio.

There are no classrooms at NYAI; instead, we teach students the art of recording, mixing, and mastering in professional recording studios. We have vintage control rooms outfitted with the gear that influenced the sound of music from the 70’s through the early 2000’s, as well as state-of-the-art Dolby Atmos Rooms featuring 7.1.4 listening environments shaping the sound of tomorrow.
